From scale-up to full-fledged company
30MHz has grown considerably in recent years. We have become a stable and reliable player in the horticultural sector. As a small start-up, we built the first foundations of our current data platform in 2015. Such as the cloud structures needed to store large amounts of crop data and make them available for analysis. Even if you want to call for large amounts of historical data and get the output in units per minute. We also set foot in the field of hardware at the time. Wireless sensors that record all kinds of climate data at crop-level. We’ve learned a lot. Mainly thanks to all growers, growers, consultants and researchers within this great industry.
In 2020, we have found our place in the market and further developed our product into a mature data platform. It retrieves accurate, real-time data from 30MHz sensors, climate systems and other data sources. You can easily translate this data into insightful graphs, diagrams and heat maps. You can also set notifications and share dashboards. This way you keep all your statistics in one central and user-friendly place that is accessible via any smartphone, tablet or PC. A complex product that we could not have foreseen at the beginning of our journey.
We are very happy with our growth, but in terms of housing this caused the necessary transformations. We moved several times. From the Rokin, to the Coenhavenweg, to the start-up hub Prodock of the Port of Amsterdam, then a street further to the Naritaweg, and now we have been firmly in our place at Zekeringstraat 36A for a month now. A building that fits our new status and offers us the opportunity to further professionalise processes. You are very welcome for a guided tour.
